Description
Durable. Cost-Effective. Modular. Future-Proof.
The K6D modular school headphone/media headset is built for younger students—from Pre-K & Pre-K through middle school—and made to handle daily classroom demands. Whether students are learning online, working on language apps, or taking tests, the K6D offers lasting performance with less waste. Its modular design allows schools to replace cables, ear cushions, and the optional SpringBoom™ microphone—so there’s no need to throw out the entire headset when one part wears out.
Even better, when you buy 100 units, we include 20 replacement ear cushions FREE OF CHARGE! This supports hygiene, saves money, and keeps headsets in service longer.
Why Choose the K6D modular school headphone?
- Interchangeable Cables – Choose the connection type that works best for your setup. The K6D supports 3.5mm TRRS, USB-A, USB-C, 110° angled plugs, and magnetic breakaway cables. As device standards evolve, simply swap the cable—no need to replace the headset.
- Optional SpringBoom™ Microphone – Add the detachable boom mic when voice input is needed. It delivers clear, consistent audio, making it ideal for remote learning, speech practice, or voice-based testing. When you don’t need it, just remove the mic and use the headset for listening only.
- Durable & Hygienic Design – The flexible polypropylene headband resists breaking, while enclosed size adjusters help prevent hair tangles. Plus, all materials are easy to wipe down and clean—perfect for busy classrooms.
- Eco-Friendly & Cost-Saving – Instead of throwing away a headset due to a single damaged part, schools can simply replace the worn component. Over time, this reduces e-waste and stretches your technology budget further.
- 1-Year “No Nonsense” Warranty – Each headset comes with a full one-year warranty when assigned to a single student. 90 days in shared applications.
In conclusion,
the K6D headset blends durability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency in one smart package. Because you can swap parts instead of tossing the whole unit, it’s the future-proof audio solution schools can count on.

Our school loves these headphones. They are much more economical in the long run and they are extremely durable. Our only issue is with the cords. In our experience if the cord is bent just a little to far at the end it causes only one ear to be heard after that. I am not sure if the wires break internally or if there is something wrong with the tip design. We have tried to change devices and the problem persists. Also, we have checked the other end to ensure it is plugged into the headphones still and it has been good. With that said, the cords are relatively inexpensive and hold up mostly well with normal use. Students love the comfort and quality as well.

Hello and thank you for your comment!
The cores of headphone cables can be made of many different materials… There’s a fine line as you can imagine between breaking a $5 cable and a $1000 device’s headphone jack…
Our cables are intentionally designed to withstand a pretty high torque force – from say a student walking away from a computer or tablet abruptly… but are also designed to break before the jack tears out of the device. This is intentional design as it’s easy to keep some spare cables on hand – like you said – but devices on the other hand are expensive and costly to replace. It’s also important to note where the jack breaks – as ours are designed to break (if they do) in such a way that the core should be easy to retrieve from the jack. We tried to think of these things.
We’re always looking to improve our designs – and we appreciate your feedback! If you’re having issues with breaking cables – consider upgrading to our magnetic breakaway variety!
Kindest Regards!

Bought a bunch of these for our class and they have lasted several years with very few issues. Incredible headphones for the price! Even these Pre-Kers can’t destroy them! Thank you so much!
